Some rare footage of an appearance I made on the Wilburn Brothers TV show in 1967 has appeared on YouTube. A fan has posted two video clips - "Woman, Woman" and" What Does It Take (To Keep A Woman" Like you Satisfied") which I released as a single that year and later recorded on the album "Woman, Woman! What Does It Take? Jimmy Payne Sings His Own Hits Songs" for Epic Records in 1968. The quality is not brilliant, but I hope you enjoy seeing them.
How nice it was recently to sit down with Jim Glaser and work on a song. It's been almost ten years since we did that and, I must admit, it felt like old times, and I looking forward to writing with him again.
It was a wonderful privilege for me to be inducted into "America's Old Time Country Music Hall of Fame." It followed my appearance at the 32nd National Old Time Country and Bluegrass Festival at the Harrison County Fairground in Missouri Valley, Iowa during August, 2007.
