It is with great sadness and regret that we had to announce the passing of our favourite Country Music singer, songwriter and legend, Jimmy Payne who sadly passed away on Monday, May 15th 2023. Our thoughts are with his family and friends. His daughter, Amanda Berlemeier, said that Jimmy Payne left this world around 3:15 (May 15th) to be with our Lord.

Among many other hits that Jimmy had written, 55 years ago he co-wrote "Woman Woman" with Jim Glaser. It became a big hit for the Gary Puckett & Union Gap in 1967. He had been placed on hospice care during May 2023 after suffering two strokes and developing a severe infection. Jimmy Payne was born on April 12th, 1936 and left us on May 15th, 2023 aged 87. RIP Jimmy.
